Base on the “Triple Objectives of Education” which include globalization, information-oriented education and future-oriented education is the direction to design classes. Around 200 full-time professors who teach expertise enrich the academic and professional management of new knowledge.
Brief History
- 1999
- The first Tamkang EMBA program which named Commerce and Management College in EMBA was established in 1999.
- 2000
- There were 3 programs: Accounting, International Business, and Finance which was established in 2000.
- 2001
- There were 2 programs: International Commerce and Insurance which was established in 2001.
- 2003
- There were 2 programs: Business Administration and Public Administration which was established in 2003.In the same year, Commerce and Management College in EMBA changed name as Management Sciences in EMBA.
- 2006
- Another 1 program: Information Management was established in 2006. So far, there are nine EMBA programs in Tamkang University.

Future Development

Class Times
At TKU, the duration of each class is 50 minutes, and each class counts for one credit point. Class times are denoted using a sequence of numbers. For example, Period One refers to classes held from 8:10 am to 9:00 am. The table below displays each number and its corresponding class times.
